One of the abiding memories of my childhood. Reggie reading the news. Mum calling out to my dad "John! John! 'Ere, look, he's pissed again" *Reggie swaying in his chair, sweaty hair stood on end, sluring through his red, swollen nose, banging on about British Leyland or something, while trying to suppress a grin*
